Music Downloads - For or Against?

  Thanks to Françoise Varillon who gave me the idea, I decided to have my first "regulated copies" from some students in 1ère STG on the subject "Are you for or against music downloads? Explain your opinion (200-250 words)". The students can send me their essays as frequently as they want to provided they respect the deadline (one week and a half)

 
I decided to have the students write this essay after we debated in class on the topic in our sequence on Afro-American music (that's why you will find many similar arguments in the copies if you have a look at them)

  I believe the system is pretty interesting (even if the assement is then difficult to make -in an ideal world you would have only perfect papers...) because the students really need to ponder over their mistakes and what they've done; there's more work for you to be done of course at the beginning but if it is more efficient, in the end you will spare a lot of time not correcting the same mistakes over and over again and eventually work on ideas...
